Confucius has been regarded as a sage for more than two thousand five hundred years
in the history of China. His teaching was profound and he had three thousand disciples
following him. They took notes from his daily teachings and these notes were later compiled
into a book now known as the Confucian Analects.
The Master said that to live a Heavenly Way of life (修道修心), one must rectify the
subconscious mind of all its bad habits and negative ideas. Habits and ideas are all
formless things beyond the understanding of our five physical senses of touch, sight,
smell, taste and hearing. We live in a world of forms, and our attention is largely
preoccupied with all things of form.
